Default 06 Silverado L59 e85 help

While talking with my tuner today he said that there isn’t an e85 sensor on the 2006 models. It’s a virtual sensor in the pcm. He said the way it figures out the ratios for the fuel are not reliable.

What options do I have? I’m NA right now, but going turbo this winter (shooting for 900hp) and want to run e85. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance!

99% sure on a 2006 you can wire in a flex fuel sensor. What operating system is in your PCM?

It is a virtual table. It reads based off of O2 feed back.

You can wire in a sensor and flash the PCM to read a Physical Sensor.

This is on an earlier truck but gives you an Idea on what was done.

This is the sensor most people are using. It also has a link to the wiring pig tail.

Don't use the The fittings with the plastic clip to retain the fuel line. Use the metal ones like this that will retain it securely.

If you make a Fuel line like the DSX kit you use these fittings to bolt to the adapters.
