im guessing that you are probably a member of titantalk.com. and if so it is one big huge place to bash domestic trucks. that doesnt happen hear. im happy to hear about tommymods getting a new 4 cam setup for his titan. so why are you upset that one out of thousand doesnt like an import? if your butthurt about it maybe you should troll back on over to your hometurf where the talk usually goes something like" man i walked this supercharged silverado with my titan and all i have is cold air intake and nismo muffler."
the truth is in the pudding and if you choose to believe what is talked about on a titan only forum then of course your gonna think that the titan's **** dont stink. back in the real world we all know what a titan is doing versus a comparable chevy/ram or ford.

okaaay, strange of me to say, but back on topic. I think we have it all sorted out now. He seeming could be troll with a conscience. Give him a chance to make some posts and make up for the aggressive first comment on the page. Seems he is doing fine. DarkblueTA pretty much puts it all on the table. There is just waaaaay to much networking, shops, parts, that support the lsx motor. Talk **** all day long, but the fact of it is, iin the modding department, it can't be beat. Sorta, depends on your fundage i guess, but very hard to beat IMO.
These manufacturers are all about options and having a base rate for economy, hence the 4.8. GM has eons of experience with making a motor that can be bored/stroked a ton of ways. Having a platform seems to be the big 3's claim to fame. Think about the assembly line of multiple v8 power systems. But again, a little tweaking and you have 4.8's keeping up if not beating some poorly tuned 6.0's.
What's the weight on your Titan? btw, I like the Titan, I like the big look (to some degree).
