Hey everyone, my buddy is thinking of getting these spacers that claim they will give you a 3" lift so you can fit 33 inch times. WIll/Do these work or are they just going to give him trouble? He doesnt want to spluge on a lift kit because he doesnt want his expedition that much higher, just enough to fit the tires. Thanks, here is the link to them:

They are like half-way down the page, and they are the suspension spacers...what do you guys think?

I had a 97 exp. and I fit 33x12.50r16.5 tires. That was on a AR Baja 16.5x9.75 wheel. I had to trim the oil filter flap, lower front black valence, and my factory running boards. That was on a stock suspension. Worked great and I beat the crap out it. Hope that helps.

Hey I appreciate the info. Yea he isnt sure if he wants to try to slightly modify the body, through the means that you mention above, or if he wants to try those spacers. I told him he would be better of getting slightly smaller tires on a larger wheel, such as a 17x10 or an 18x10, but he reallys whats the 33 inch tires and isnt sure if he wants to start cutting away and modifying the wheel wells to make them fit. Im a little suspect about the spacers as they look like they will cause abnormal wear to his stock suspension, and will compromise ride quality significantly. I appreciate the info though and will show him what it takes to make them fit and see if he wants to go in that direction.
