So it seems I quickly outgrew my little regular cab ranger '07 ranger I bought back in may, so I had to go order my new truck. '08 f-250 superduty v-10 crew cab long bed. XLT sport trim in dark blue pearl, total came to about $38,000 after tax and title with trade in and down payment I will be a little over $35,000. I already have my list together of what the mods are I wanna do to it.

Appearance:

Exterior: Bushwhacker pocket style fender flares with visible bolts
billit grill inserts (grill itself if color matched due to sport trim)
Chrome front bumper guard with auxiliary lighting
6" lift kit (unsure of what exactly I want totally from it yet, I want it to be a daily so not sure if im going the 6" route yet since im working out of it too)
Not sure about wheel and tire combo yet, thinking MT baha claw radial mounted on the old ford larait wheel (solid with circular holes) if they fit

Interior:
Possible seat covers, otherwise, cant really improve on it

Performance:

??????? any ideas?

 

Why the V-10 over a diesel?

 

He said he wants to drive it everyday, he needs something reliable. Not to mention, diesel is 2 to 5 cents a gal more then premium. V-10 is a great motor. Good luck with your new ride.

Also, you can level it and run 35"s all day long with NO rub.
