I have an 84 F-150 with a 302ci 2 barrel. The odometer has rolled over 3 times so far and its getting close to rolling a 4th time. I have a chance to buy a 93 Lincoln Towncar with a 4.6L SOHC in it. What all other than the wiring harness and fuel system do i need to change. ie motor mounts. etc...

Probably transmission as well. I'm gonna bet that there's no provision for a kick down cable on the 4.6 intake, and I'd also guess the bolt pattern for the bellhousing will be different. I could be wrong tho.

Bolt pattern for trans is different. What kind of trans is in it? you can get adapters and bellhousing for aod, and C4. On the mounts, I dont know how the town car mounts look, but I have a 5.4 out of a Navigator going in a 66 F100, an we are going to try using the lower mounts out of a F-150 that bolt to the Navigator mounts on the engine. If that dont work, it is not much to build some. You will also need a pcm and I "THINK" you may need the gauge cluster to, not real sure on that though. I am sure you will need a few more odd and ends I cant think of.
