And anyone really serious about performance isn't going to want an extra couple hundred pounds of wheels draggin them down.

I just want to know how N/A=400lbft and S/C=400lbft, must be a type o. Unless ford now has a blower that makes no torque, however being a twin screw I highly doubt that.

Eh for the weight i would think it will run mid 14s? The ss n/a gets 14.9s no mater what a 5.3 or an 6.0 supercharged will smoke it . A bit too much ricey for me i like the SS better.

The 400 lb-ft for the SC spec is a typo. It's 450 hp / 500 lb-ft. Not as much interested in that particular truck's number but whether the parts will be available.

I'm sure the parts they install on the truck will become available eventually. I think 99% of the parts they install on their cars are available through their online store (at a substantial cost, however). There are certain items they don't offer to the public so they cannot completely replicate their product. One example I can think of is their 200mph speedometer and computer for that speedometer (made by Motorola). But, you can usually find those on eBay off of a wrecked Saleen.

I think the truck is nice. I personally like the styling and the numbers seem pretty impressive. But, already owning a Saleen Mustang...I need to hold onto my Dodge Ram for something more practical. The bed of my Ram gets used and abused, I probably wouldn't put anything more than groceries in the back of this thing.

if you think a 5.4 will outperform a 5.3 mod for mod then you are badly mistaken. imo theres no engine of equal size that will perform with a LS1 with the same mods.

oh yea that truck looks like *** and overpriced

^^^ my thoughts exactly... do you honestly think that truck could outrun a rcsb silverado 5.3 with an intercooled radix and the other corresponding mods? the oval doesnt have a snowball's chance. Its not because I am a "chevy guy" either. Its because its been proven over and over.... the 5.4 doesnt stack up.

My stock 5.4 will out run your stock 5.3. I'd put money on that.

And you guys greatly underestimate the Mod motors. There's potential there, you just don't see many people that try and do much with them N/A because it's so easy to throw boost at them. Lemme ask you this. What's the most power you'll see out of a 5.3 N/A? No spray, just full bolt ons. HCI if you want. I haven't seen anyone that's done it.

Please, prove me wrong.

*EDIT* After doing some searching around, the highest I've found completely NA out of a 5.4 was 538 RWHP.
