Default expedition CAI

a freind of mine has a CAI on his 2003 ford. not sure which v8 it have i think the 5.4l. he says that when its really cold out it idles really weird. like erratic around 1000 rpm. he sid it only happens when it starts getting cold here. any ideas?

i dunno but my work truck is a 03 f150 5.4 and it idles crazy high when its cold outside like around 1600 i just blame it on the fact that its a ford

my 07 chrysler srt8 idles above 1000rpm when cold starting (hot weather) for a few seconds. and stays there for a few minutes during cold weather.

he said its just real irrattic when cold.
