this is 100% true, any time you mess witht eh intake system on a 3 valve motor you want a custom tune...[/COLOR
Could I simply order a SuperChip and plug & Play to accomplish this?

x2 TRUE!......I have a friend with an 5.4l f150 and he mentioned to me the same thing in a general conversation. Also don't waist your time with a "chip" or handheld tune. You'll spend $300+ on a tune that won't net you much gain at all. You'll spend a similar amount of money to just get a custom tune from a sponsor that will actually net you some real gains plus make your truck much more fun to drive.

I have a 2005 5.4L F-150 lariat and want to increase my performance. If I could increase performance and gas mileage at the same time that would be great I just am curious on what would be the best way to do it. My best guess would be to install a cold air intake system and also an exaust package but as to which ones would be the best for my truck I have no idea. All suggestions appreciated! thanks
