Exclamation 5.4L (Cam Swap)

Hello, i have just a few questions regarding swapping the cam in my 5.4L 3 valve Triton. Before i order anything i want to assure that it will bolt right in without digging a money pit. Last thing i need is to buy a cam and limiter kit then have to go buy more and more things to make things fit correctly.

So here's the deal.. I have a 5.4l 3v Triton V8, stock cam, stock valve springs and stock cam phaser. This being said, what would i need for me to drop a Comp Cam (***** Thumpr™, MT273LL) in without having any trouble. I think i need a Cam Phaser Limiter Kit but i'm not all that sure??

Hope you GM guys suck it up and help a Ford guy out

Best bet is to call Comp and ask. I have heard 2 sides. One they bolt right on and the 2nd is you'll need springs and lil more parts that follow and new timing chains (2) I used to have one and was planning to go with those cams, power is ok but the torque they make is pretty sweet! Good luck on it and post up if you pull the trigger on them.
