Hey My Friend Broke His Engine And He Wanted To Know If A Mustang Engine Will Fit His 2001 F150 Or Those He Need To Modified Things I Think He Said The Mustang Block Was A 01 Too

The big difference will be the upper intake and possibly the manifolds. Deck height and everything else should be the same. Might double check the oil pan, I can't remember if those are different or not.
But with the exception of those things, everything else motor wise is the same thing. So to answer your question, yes... a Mustang Long Block should work, but he'll have to swap some of the truck specific things around.

Has he checked the availibilty of the new 3V mod motors?
From what I've read these put out the HP and gas mileage that way ahead of a modded 4.6 2V.
Get one out of a wrecked Bullit add in some headers and a tune then your cooking with gas.
