Default 4.0 v6 help

OMG, its in a older ford explorer god dam its a cluttered mess of wiring, hardly any space an i own a 4th gen camaro. Well where trying to get the heads off anyways. The egr/AIR wahtever is blocking a bolt, how does cutting the egr off the driverside manifold plugging it up with jb weld sound will it work, will it trip codes will plug all the line's running into the intake to. I wasn't 100% sure on this an I wanted to make sure before i attempt this with a friend since it his vehicle

it will throw a p0401 if it doesn't see any flow when commanded. you may be able to get around it though. the newer 4.0 rangers didn't have egr.
