So since my truck is lifted 9 inches on 35" tires I would imagine I have tons of room to build a lowmount, frontmount turbo... correct? Is there any reason that I shouldn't do that? I don't do any mudding or 4 wheeling other than getting up my driveway or driving across a field.

Theres a good bit of room up front for a turbo.

also for a factory Turbo look at the Holset HX35 of the 5.9L 12V cummins. I think they are good for about 6-8psi on a 4.8 or 5.3, and 8.1 Marine injectors are 44# so that should get you by for your goals.

I use to mud ride with my remote mount. just had to make a sheild for the filter and it worked. id have to clean the filter afterwards tho

If you do a rear mount, you can run the filter over and up between the fender well where the outside bed skin and the iner part have a gap. keeps the filter clean and out of the crud.
