Default This would be cool test

Just a basic long block, probably a stock bottom end deal with a ported set of factory heads and a cheap carb style intake with a really good turbo on it.....and then test all the factory cams (possibly at different boost levels).

I seen someone mention running an ls9 cam in a 4.8 and it got me remembering the junkyard 5.3 turbo fairmont that Parish8 did a few decades ago. I recall him running the stock 5.3 cam and switching to an 02 ls6 cam and picking up some really good numbers.

I'm gearing this thread toward a turbo set up because there are so many more of them. Would be a fun test on a procharged deal too (like maybe an F1c combo or something that could be pullied to make a little over 20 lbs of boost without having to pass the recommended max blower rpm.

...am I way late to the game (this test would have been cool 5 years ago) or does anyone else think this would be cool?

I think that would be awesome.....well....maybe a secret test. I don't like people knowing how great the Takeouts are. They keep driving the prices up lol.
