I know your feeling with having the other car. Every time I do something more on my truck I think why am I doing this to a truck thats heavy as hell. I'm building a front engine dragster and should just put my time and money into that and go 7's and use my truck as its original purpose of being bought... trailering the dragster lol. What is your other car?

LOL, yep!!! I have 1993 cough cough cough......Ford Mustang notchback. It has a stroked sbf with a procharger F2. It was running low 9's at a 150 a few years ago with a procharger D2r, C-4 uand small hydraulic roller.

Friend was selling F2 so I sold off my stuff and was going to just add the bigger blower and a glide. Fast forward 4 years and here we are.......porting and bigger valves in heads, solid roller, shaft rockets, big air to water intercooler mounted in car, converted carbon intake to fuel injection, 225lb injectors, 105mm tb/elbow, mechanical fuel pump, gear drive blower with inlet through bumper, fenderwell exit headers (front of front tires), 25.5 cage, chute, wheelie bars, mini tub, etc etc etc.....WTH! This isn't a hobby, its an addiction!!!! I would actually have a lot of money if it wasn't for my mental condition! LOL

I am not by any means knocking your plans, I am just sayin.....maybe with the other projects you try to keep the truck as close to dependable as you can

I have EVERY opportunity in front of me when it comes to projects, I still never touch my daily driver!

Oh, those ecoboost motors are bad ***! I would love to have a RCSB F-150 Ecoboost......mmmmm FUN!

Good luck in your plans, if there is ever anything I can do to help you please do not hesitate to call or email me.

Not taken that way at all and you are Absolutely right! However, it is more fun to do the illogical thing and make the daily driver fast too

Seriously, I've got close to 100,000 miles blown and it's been great to me (if you don't count transmissions and transfer cases) Probably smart thing would be to keep it in this area (12's), but I want to go faster and I never claimed to be a sane/logical person
