Hey guys,

Had a 2011 Sierra with a 5.3L flex fuel. It had a Magnacharger tvs1900 intercooled system. Sodl the truck and took the blower off

Now have a 2007 CLASSIC 4.8L 2wd.I want to install this blower on it, will it fit?

 

I would assume so, the cylinder heads carry the same port design. You'll just need the other stuff like injectors, fuel pump, 2 bar map and that jazz.

 

Its a complete unit, injectors, map etc.

 

Slap that puppy on there, should have little to minor mods to change, like move a few wires here and there etc. Also if in doubt call Magnuson and ask tech support what would be needed swap from one to the other

 

I dont think it will. He said its a classic so its a nbs not a nnbs so it should still have cathedral ports right?

 

4.8's and 5.3's in the NNBS still have cathedral port heads. It's the 6.0's that have the square ports. NNBS trucks have either 243's or 799 cylinder heads on 5.3's.

 

It will fit. electronics I don't think will carry over. My 1900 came off a 2010.

 

I guess i'll call magnacharger to go over the electronics of it. As long as the heads match i can do the rest.
