Will rear end hold up????

Default Will rear end hold up????

I'm in the process of building an lq4 turbo charged engine with a built 4l60e I'm curious bout the rear end will it hold up it's an 04 z71 with 22 inch rims and 33 by 12.5 tires am I gonna have axle or ring and pinion issues

I'd worry about the transmission before I'd worry about the rear diff.

Rear end will probably grenade. Would be worth looking into a tru trac.

And you'll really be pissed when it grenades. You really should consider an 80e swap.

A stock 80E is as durable if not more durable than a built 60E, and is a fraction of the cost. And if you spend a little money upgrading an 80E it will take you a long way.

tranny will not be happy, even built. 10 bolt w/ good lsd will hold a good amount of power. I use trutrac and put 600+ to ground on slicks. all stock exept trutrac. stock g80 will explode tho.
