Get a 40k trans cooler if your gonna tow like ya said. My stock converter was about friend when I took my trans out to swap for my FLT unit. The trans itself was good though. I would say go ahead and get a built trans as well. Do you plan on running the stock pulley and keeping it around 5psi?

I would plan on leaving it at the low boost for a good while I am sure. The extra power is mostly for towing. I am looking to get the most tq possible out of this motor. Thats my main goal.

The methanol will be good for hot rodding around in the truck, if you tow with the meth on you will need more storage capacity than what the standard kits come with.

Would the meth keep it cool say on climbing a hill. I should have just bought a diesel but the wife won't let me trade this in already and we have a tralier.

Meth will keep the intake charge cool...well actually no it won't. Meth will increase the octane rating and water will cool the intake charge. Most people run a mix of Meth/water in their meth tank. You can run straight meth but that's just gonna help you prevent knocking and increase your safety margin. Most people have their meth injection set up to go off at 3psi and up...When towing you'll be in boost quite often and depending on the length of your trip you'll burn through your meth tank pretty quickly.
