I have a dual wideband with 2 LC1 & 2 XD1 guage. It is a very nice instrument. The LC1 is a standalone wideband unit.
It has a two analog outputs, and a minijack output to a display output (the guage) or directly to laptop. You can also log throught the daisey chained LC1 and guage into a laptop with the LC1 SW but the Lamda/A-F is all you will get. The LC1 does not have any inputs like the LM1. It doesn't coordinate RPM or TPS like the LM1 can becasue it doesn't accept inputs.
The analog outputs can be set up to simulate a narrowband output, a wideband output or a custom signal. I am using the narrowband signal from the LC1 wideband o2s to simulate the PCM signals. I took out my narrowband O2s.
It is really designed for use with tuning SW like HPtuners or EFIlive that will accept the wideband analog signal from the LC1. The laptop SW then does the coordinating with the engine signals. This is how I plan on doing it when I get the tuning SW.
heres a link to my setup in my TA

sent you a PM.
I have the XD1 and LC1, but dont have them hooked up yet. The LC1 doesnt let you record like the LM1. You will want to pay close attention to your laptop if you dont have the EIO for HPTuners. Once you get the AF were you need it the XD1 just allows you to easily watch it. Once you program the XD1 and wire it to the LC1 you will have a had time changing any settings b/c you would need to totally uninstall the XD1 to do so.
Im having a hard time figuring out how to mount the LC1 under the truck. Any of you guys have pics?

So will the LM-1 let me do this:
Hard wire their AFR gauge into my pod
Allow me to log AFR/RPM on my laptop
AT THE SAME TIME?
I want to be able to have an AFR gauge permanently installed and when I bring the laptop to the truck, with EFI Live on it, I can pull another connection from under the dash and hook up the laptop without unhooking the gauge in the pod. So when I have the laptop in the truck I get readings on the laptop while logging, and readings on the gauge at the same time. Make sense? Then when I'm done with the laptop, I unplug it and tuck the cord under the dash and never touch the pod gauge.
