Spent some time on the plasma table today, have a neat idea for a T4 flange but have a lot more to get done before that is even an issue.

The mock-up motor is getting delivered in the morning.

It's a Hypertherm 1000 with a table running PlasmaCam. Cool table uses the wand instead of a dedicated torch.

Ill be following this closely as well... My grandpa has been running a fleet of carburetor propane trucks for his business for the last 25 years, with his own on site tank to make filling up convenient. There is no telling how many thousands he has saved in fuel costs over the years. I would be interested in converting my truck to propane if it could be done reasonably easy, just don't know much about the combination of a vaporizer and eight injectors lol.

No injectors, turbo and a propane carburetor/vaporizer. There are going to be a bunch of tricks to get it to work right under all the parameters that guys put these trucks through, design and testing will take quite some time. Hopefully it only takes building a few different vehicles to get it figured out. First will be cable throttle like my '99 and then eventually drive by wire. Also have to cover the 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L apps.

So are you planning to switch to a carbureted intake manifold setup? I would think that will make tuning a major pita. If those are your plans, you shouldn't need any other vehicles for a testing platform. From 99'-06', everything 4.8-5.3-6.0 is interchangeable between each engine, so once you cover your truck you have covered them all. They switched to dbw in 03', but if your using a carb that won't matter.
