turbo is a GT40-88 with a smaller turbine housing for quicker spooling on the street with the 6 speed.

Neither manifold is stock, both are log style headers. The tb spacer is there to kick out the intake elbow from the tb. If its off there, the elbow hits the pulley. So yes, the spacer DOES help out LOL.

BTW, im almost ready for the t56 to go in. just waiting my textralia to get here. Im going to get a pcm from a manual truck is that ok? (Hpt) How about wiring, what is needed there?

Got a quick question.... I have a 4.8... I am looking for what size turbos to run as a twins setup. have reasonably good spooling and still be able to support approx 450 rwhp without maxing it out...

will the 4.8 be ok with those kinds of power numbers??

was going to go the 408 route.... but i would like to see what i can do with the 4.8...

any help would be appreciated

I have been interested in building a Turbo kit for a pretty long time. What is needed to make a complete kit? Besides a Turbo. Where is a good place to look?

Fullthrottledan1,
Is that a custom kit? I like the set-up.

Thanks

My PCM is still an Auto PCM, just with F-body 6spd tranny tables thrown in there. You have to turn of ALL the auto tranny codes too or the PCM will go ape ****. The only wiring I did was for the back up lights. I can tell you how to do that in a PM. It's only 2 wires and it's pretty easy.
