Holy hell man! You have something seriously wrong. Are you sure your IAT sensor isn't broken? Is the IC pump working, are the lines clogged, do you have coolant in it? That had have of throw a high IAT code or something. You don't have like a 2ft crank pulley on there overspinning the crap out of the blower do you? Geez!

FYI, mine only get up to 150* at WOT in 3rd at 10psi with no IC.

Oh yeah....you were speeding.

My 4.8 radix temps if I best remember were as follows:
3.25 pulley and stock intercooler hx - 170*
3.0 with 100% meth - 200*
3.0, meth, and my bigger hx - 170*

These temps were all either on the dyno or as I crossed the finish line in the 1/4 and the ambient was all around 60* +/- 10*.

I have my original larger hx I need to sell as well as the stuff to put together 1 new one if you are interested. $200 for the used one and $250 for the new one.

To those that guessed that my IC pump is not working.....you are correct!

I had been running at 5000+ RPM for a minute or two before that working on AutoVE tuning and I figured that's why it was so hot, but I just checked the pump and it's toast. The wiring is fine at the pump, 14 volts at the connector.

I guess I'll be ordering a new pump. No intercooler at the track tomorrow night Hopefully the meth will do a decent job of keeping things cool.

The funny thing is that at that IAT under load (low RPM, high IAT, high boost) it pulled enough timing that I actually saw it go negative a few times. Yikes.

I wouldn't go to the track until your pump is up and running. To me it seems like a waste of time if all systems are NOT go. You'll be leaving a lot of power on the table.

I have intermittant intercooler pump no runs also. I have to get under the truck and wiggle the connector to get it running again. I am going to wire something up and a light in the cab to verify coolant flow in the circuit.

I can still use it to do some good WOT tuning, which was my intention tonight anyway. I'll just have to go again in a week or two

KYSilverado....what are you planning to put in to verify flow? I might do the same but I dunno what I would put in there...

I got a little led light from radio shack that I have to show that my meth pump is running. $.89 maybe?

I have the light, just wondering about what to wire it up to so that it comes on if the pump stops running.

You would have to wire up a relay with the light switched coming off the normally closed (when de-energized) post. This is the post you normally don't use on the little square relays. Not all relays have it. your power source would be off the pump hot wire of course. But if the pump just burnt up internally and the hot wire was still getting power then that wouldn't work. A flowswitch of some sort would be the best triggering device. but now things get complicated
