who all is making decent power on a stock 80e converter?

714 to the wheels here on the stock converter.

D as in D3 position? If you are referring to D4, try it in D3. Then also try it in D1 position.

under normal driving. it shifts fine, and like it should, when trying to manual shift. it only goes down to "3" it wont go to "2" or "1" though.

Not dyno tested yet but i/m at 15psi with stock 80e converter

yes it does the same thing. im suspecting this may just be tune related

If its the same in D3, then its not the overdrive roller clutch.
Really need to test it in D1 also.
Still could be the forward clutches (but these are much more likely to slip in upper gears vs lower gears).

If you could test D1 position (and it still does the same) then its not likely the transmission (as this rules out the low roller clutch).

i can put it in 1 and it will still shift to 2nd and 3rd gear

I know, but it brings on different clutches/bands (ie stronger) depending on which gear you have the shifter in.
