Default Whipple Going in Sat!! Questions!

Alright.... Im getting yellowsierra's whipple and we are going to install it sat..

Is there anything I should look for that can make the installation easier??

Is there anything I need besides..
- 42lb Injectors
- Whipple Kit
- Tune

What kinda IAT's are not good???

I don't know much about the whipple but I know the valve covers need to be swapped. At least you got injectors so it should run good with a good tune. IAT, not sure. I would think anything above 130 is bad.

Yeah he said we would have to swap the valve covers....

Make sure you have the throttle body gasket that comes with the whipple kit. It's also nice to have a little extra PCV Hose, because you will have to extend it when you swap the valve covers.

Hot IAT's are bad (grin). Not much you can do to avoid them with the whipple, but the good news is...They will be lower than any other non-intercooled charger.

I just talked to whipple and Im going to have to get the Throttle body adapter from them for a Drive by Wire, and a new water nipple thing!!(??)

I guess I should get the gasket while Im getting!!

Its the thing you have to freeze and then put it in the water pump (iguess) and then let it expand!!

We are talking about the same part. Mine didn't need to be changed. I thought I had a picture, but I don't.

On some of the kits the upper radiator hose gets routed behind the alternator. On those kits you have to change that part. My hose sits on a small bracket on top of the alternator.

I just ordered that part from whipple..... 175 shipped 2 day...

I think we have everything..

Me and Yellowsierra are just going to swap waterpumps... so we dont have to buy that other piece....
