Default Where To Buy?

Hey, those few with home built turbo kit's hats off to all of you. Great work. If i go this route where would be the best place to buy the materials to start. What gauge/thickness do you recommend to use? What is prefered coated steel, stainless, or would the stainless benifit from coating? I 'm sorry I have so many questions I have done many searches and viewed many pictures to try and absorb all the genius information you have all contributed. I have a couple of books but I trust the knowledge of all that are running real life daily driver vehicles and dont have national race team funding. Oh I want to go with a front mount turbo. Thank you.

I really wanted to fab one from scratch. I have the TIG and tools and can weld decent but i would have my father in law do the finish weld's. STS is great but when the rainy season is here we have nice deep puddles i only have a 2-4 drop and you can feel the water splashing the floorboards under your feet I dont think a hot turbo like's to be run underwater.

You misunderstand what I'm saying. He does a good bit of custom work and could point you in the right direction. Billy also can offer I/c, piping, t-bolt clamps and many other turbo related items at awesome prices.

Quicksilverado,Bud8fan, Thank you. Billy was a great help very helpful. Just when I thought I was finished he would add extra information. I was willing to buy what I need from him but he told me where to go and get it. Hard to find someone to do that with a business these day's. Thanks again and now I'll start by trying to make a list.
