whats a good crank case ventalation for a turbo ?

Detination will kill any engine, a forged engine will just take more before it dies. You cannot allways trust the factory knock sensors. I have pulled more than one LS1 appart and found the knock sensors surrounded by water, and corrosion. Those grommets leak water in, and it has no way out. The 5.3 out of my truck was really bad, would det just driving down the road in od. My 6.0 had signs of it to, so I replaced the sensors, cleaned out the cavity ,and siliconed the groments in.

Sounds like you should work on what caused the piston failure first.I know on my truck at 7lbs it only like 14 degree's of timing on pump because of the weight of the truck.You don't lose 2 pistons for no reason.

Yikes, your engine sounds worse than mine.
What were your AFR's while your tuner was tuning it? If he didn't have a wideband or anyway to tell your AFR's then get yourself a new tuner.
16* timing, no knock and 11psi on pump only is kind of hard to believe. Can you get ahold of the log files and post them up?

yep i was running with out meth i got tired my truck was just sitting in my porch for two weeks and my wastegate 6# spring didnt get here quik so i just took it to tune it here at xsessive motorsports i had the snow boost cooler but i didnt have any meth so i took my chances and so it was bad *** it felt real strong i wouldnt control it at 35 or 65mph so on my way back home i did a 65 run and its when it broke my eng. had only 10k miles so now im going to forged it with some probe -13.5cc pistons at around 8.8-9.1 comprssion and some scat I beam rods and some Hellfire rings and bore out my 5.3 to a 5.7L. what do you all think about this would it take 11-15psi or maybee even 18 psi what do you all think what would you all suggest on my botton end so it can hold on to the turbo>..?????????????
