Default what wasteegate / bov is used in this truck

i know its a levernois kit but they dont say what bov and w/g they use. i love the sound of that trucks bov/wg

I doubt its the bov, probably either turbo surge or the wg.

The bov only works when you overcome its setting which is higher than the wg.
It's like a safety valve.

And I think that all wg's sound pretty much the same.

that is the bov. i have a turbonetics raptor and it sounds just like that. you are suppose to adjust the bov so it has a steady swish sound rather than the noise you hear in that vid but i never messed with it.

quicksilverado's is a rear mount sts... his bov sounds like a bird is trapped under the hood, lol

that's a f n sweet vid! the bov does sound rad on the truck.

My bypass valve, vented to atmosphere, sounds like that. Its a stock procharger piece.

Since I changed the exhaust it is alot louder than that.

is that the stock bov? on the sts system?

That is the Livernois kit on an EXT, and that sound is Compresser surge from NOT having a BOV... I know this because thats exactly what my truck sounded like after installing the Livernois, now i have a Forge Dual Piston BOV that is pretty loud. I am going to change the BOV for the new motor because the Dual Piston is too slow on the opening and i still get some surge so, i plan to go to a full atmo vent BOV on my new set up when done... Should be PHAT nasty loud! hehe
