I think it would do just fine at 5-7 psi but it really starts to shine once you go 13+ lol. I would just put a shift kit in the 80e and run 12 psi and be good for a while

And as far as the oil dont you tap into the front of you timing cover? idk what oil id have to run but im running mobile 1 synthetics ?

That only has 860ppm zinc in it, most off the shelf oils won't have more than that thanks to the epa making us run catalytic converters I guess zinc plugs them up over time. Most racing oils have more of it, brad penn, royal purple, I use Valvoline vr1.

Oil feed is just above the oil filter, there is a block off plate that looks like its just itching to be drilled and tapped, like a high school girl on prom night. Then you can do the return in the oil pan as high as you can so its above the oil level, you can also do it in the timing cover. I run Rotella T6, its synthetic and has a good bit of zinc in it. And its really cheap!

We both nailed it at the same time with no brake boosting and mine pulled ahead almost 2 cars cause of spool time, but you can see he catchs me up top, the bw rips in third but is a vary laggy turbo compared to mine. Granted we are setup the same else wise other then converter.
cool vid.

thats why i said something about the s467 or s468. there was a guy who had a setup on a similar sized turbo showing lag time and it was like 30ft from a stop brake boosting a couple psi. then he showed a video doing the same process with a s475 showing that it took considerably longer to build boost and the lag was nearly 300ft. little smaller for less lag but still the same 80mm exhaust if i remember. sucks i cant find the thread/vid.

Yeah only bad thing is almost anything that creates more turbo lag also creates more power once it does come in, so its kind of a gamble in what you really want, there's a vary fine line between what gives you the best of both worlds.
