Default what tranny for sts

am trying to run more than 6psi but i need to build the tranny cuz i dont want it falling apart on me. what tranny should i go with or set up. should i go with a finish line tranny or where can i get the parts cuz i also want to get a higher stall? i need some good tips

A stock 4l80e with a shift kit will hold up fine at your power level. I twill hold if you decide to turn up the boost also.

The really cool thing about the turbo is the higher 1st gear in the 80E wont hurt you as much as it does anyone non-turbo. Might be something you want to do. The 60Es dont have the best track record for longevity.

so go with the 80 and shift kit are theyt a direct swap or do i need to do some modifications? cuz right after the tranny i wanna run meth, tq converter, u know a lil more boost i just want the tranny to hold up. n e thing else i have to do?

Sorry to say the 80e swap is far from a direct swap Check out Speed engineerings web site they have everything you will need to make the swap work.
