How are you doing the shuffle?

Rev it in neutral and push down the brake, you'll feel the brake go down a little more, put it into 3rd and floor it.

I did the same procedure, but instead of putting it into 3rd I just put it into drive. I read mixed reviews about putting it 3rd and drive, maybe I should give it a try in 3rd

trarinitup your probably right, I tried it just on a regular street w/ the tires cold

Some members & sponsors suggest to race in 3rd. It applies more clutch area I believe.

Along with doing that try stomping the parking brake after you stage. I used to do it in my turbo buick. And it helped with keeping the car from rolling the beams. But i'm 6'2 and have long arms so that might not work for everyone.

First, see if you have a check valve in your brake booster line right at the booster. My crew cab had that stupid canister thing with no check valve, so any boost would blow into the vacuum booster and work against you. I got a check valve from an 02 truck and it was night and day, held 100X better. I am not sure when they switched from the check valve to the little canister thing, but my 00 has the valve, 05 has the canister.

I don't think I have the check valve, here is a picture

can I get the check valve at a parts store or do I need to go to dealership?
