Default What supporting mods for 700 rwhp?

I am looking at buying a RCSB 2wd 03 silverado right now... and my eventual goals would be a semi dd/ weekend truck with maybe 1 track day a month, with a high boost setting of 7-800 to the wheels. Likely a forged 370 with a 78mm turbo.

My question is, what supporting driveline mods are required for such a truck, I figured either a built t56, or a built 4l80e from either flt or rpm. What about rear end, suspension... etc. Also if I was to go with a 4wd truck is anything else required?

Thanks in advance.

your on the right track with the tranny, my rear is still holding so far with good axles and locker. But a 14 bolt or a 9 inch would be stronger. Im in the process of the 9 inch swap. the 14 bolt is easier b/c it just bolt in. good luck with the build.

I am certainly expecting to need fuel mods... I just don't know too much about the rear end driveshaft, and trannies in these trucks yet.

I would get a 4x4 truck and go with a 4l80e, that's for sure, WAY easier to get traction on the street with out cruising on DR's all the time. A good locker, but I don't even have one of those, I'm still running an open diff, helper air bags plumed separate, help me get a good "balance" for traction, but in 2wd, it's still a smoke show under 35

at 700 rwhp it's going to smoke them at anything less than 60mph or even more on dry roads.
