What size of pipe for log header?

2.5 schedule 40 and 1.5 schedule 40 weld els. If I had it to do again I'd just buy one from kb racing or one of tricks cast. It was by far the hardest part of fabricating my homemade turbo kit. The els are really fun to notch lol!

That's why I built a jig to notch the elbows in a drill press with a hole saw, lol. Then I got a mill and it works even better!

2.5" schedule 40 is what most use for single logs over the last 12years.
You'll need hole saws, to plunge into the log or a cut off wheel plasma cutter etc.
any of those tools can be used to cut holes in the log or trim the elbows.
You'll need head flange, turbo flange, inlet log flange.
And a some hours. Plus welding skills.

With what trick offers in cast log manifolds I don't see the point in building or buying anything else if you plan on doing a log style manifold turbo system. I would only try to building my own hot side if it was for something better than a log style system. I got the trick cast manifold and for what it is I couldn't be happier with it.
