I decided I am going to have an intercooler added to my yukon denali to cool the air temps from my whipple. What size cores are some of you guys running? Wheres the best spot that some of you have found to mount them? I want to add it with as little cutting/modifcation to the truck as possible.

 

I cant remember the exact on mine, I think its 28x12x3 maybe 26x12x3. It fits between my front bumper supports without having to cut them.

 

I put mount brackets on my intercooler so that I have two bolts mounting it to the front bumper support.

Do the tow hooks still fit? That looks pretty good. How well does it cool with a lot of the intercooler behind the bump? Is the air flow to it still sufficent? What kinda temps are you running?

 

12-14 above ambient at WO. Cant ask for much better. Yes the tow hooks fit, I just removed them for my lower grill.

 

What kind of intercooler is that and where did u get it?

 

Its custom, no specific name. Made to my spec. The company that made it is not in business anymore. Drop Rick @ Trick a line I am sure he can help you out.

 

have one just like it....works great...also were did you get that lower grill?

 

guess that lower grill is a big ......must make that denali run faster.....
