well i attached the tee for the gauge at about 3in from the boost ref. port. the full length of the line is still coiled until i find a nice spot to put everything. I will have some videos to show what im seeing and hearing.

when cruising i see vacuum, to maybe 2psi up and down hills, everything sounds like it should for the most part, im going to go through the instructions for attaching the gauge again.

However, in the videos linked below, during the last couple seconds in each i get a different sound from the charger the gauge peaks and holds at 13psi until i let up, or maybe a bearing going bad, although everything is new, its only 5 months off the assembly line. the noise at the end is what is concerning me i haven't really got on it to much, until i know what is going on

my a/f is not hooked up yet

temps according to the dash seem to be all inline while normal driving, trans does get hot but nothing im concerned about on "above normal driving" but it is also hot outside to

Ya I'm thinking the boost gauge could be bad. I just got a new Autometer boost gauge that turned out to be completely dead on arrival.

after some extensive testing in the 15 to 20 so minutes, im thinking that the boost gauge might be bad (or the bypass actuator on the supercharger is off calibration is this possible? will it effect this) at wot for an extended period it does not go above 13psi. However she does scream when hard takeoff from a stop almost as if the belt is slipping at high rpms, although i haven't found and burnt rubber on anything yet when spinning up to about 6000rpm or so

The bypass only bypasses when you are not mashing the go pedal, so no, it's not that. I put my vote check mark in the bad gauge column.

Boost amount when dealing with a Supercharger is mechanical in nature so if your seeing too much boost it's either a bad gauge or you have the wrong pulley on!
What was the point of that second video btw?

well the second video was more for the sound that i hear at higher rpms, it sounds more like a screeching sound more then a whine, it is a 3.4dia pully and im going to give autometer a call tuesday

You know on second thought because boost is a measure of resistance there might be something adding restriction in your system, could be a foreign object in the system or something left behind or still in the intercooler lower manifold... Any other problems with your system?

Well the intercooler seems to be flowing, long sweeping bends in coolant lines, it doesn't get to hot to the touch will. I'm going to go though all the electrical before i go an finish hiding them. She runs, but i really need to find a dyno to run and tune everything. thanks for all the input
