I am running into the same issue with my single 255 intank. I just installed a Racetronix hotwire kit yesterday and it seems to be a little better. I plan on getting a boost-a-pump and adding to the mix as well. If all that dosn't work, I will be doing another 255 in the tank on a hobbs switch to only activate under boost. I am running the factory return system.

Buy some earplugs if they don't come with the pump.

I am about to put a bosch 044 in tank, I think rick(synergy) is making 800hp with a single 044 intank.. I am still up in the air on the big wire kit, Imo 10g is too big, I know 2 guys for a fact running it on the stock wires, no issues.

I think you will be just fine with a return line alone on a singal walbro 255. A friend of mine is running 11-12 psi on a 03 Silverado SS with a stock LQ9. Fuel pressure never drops even at 192 KPA and 95% IDC on 60# injectors on stock SS return fuel system and regulator. We were also spraying meth with a 10gph nozzel, so it helped with fueling a little.

walbro pumps always seem to fail quickly or last forever, there is never a reason for either. How many people have had luck with the bosch in-tank pumps??

People who run there tanks on empty are usually the ones that kill em if the bucket is modified. I have never had a trouble with a non Chinese Walbro.

the tank is big so fuel movement could uncover the pump at about 1/8 tank, so i never run it passed a quarter

i think i just ran it to its limit at the current setup so i think im going to do a bosch and a return line
