Default What gauges should I run?

hey guys, this is going to be my first forced induction set up and I'm wondering what gauges I should run? Highly doubt I'll go over 8 psi. Running true duals if that makes a difference. My friend told me to run boost, a/f, and pyrometer.

'Cause if you don't have it, you engine goes boom. With FI and the extra demands on the fuel system, it is good to know everything is in check with it. It is especially helpful if tuning yourself as AFR doesn't always tell you everything you need to know.

Makes sense, so basically I would be able to know if my fuel pump wasn't keeping up with my injectors? Does the fuel pressure just put a sensor on the fuel rail?

Not sure I know what a scan gauge is?

Edit: I googled it, but is it really necessary? My truck already has a trans temp gauge

I'm guessing the pyrometer isn't really necessary?

The only gauge you NEED is a wideband.

I've been boosted for 2 years with just a wideband. Granted, I have a boost controller that can display boost but I don't look at it while driving.

To me, no gauge is going to save you from blowing your motor. The damage occurs before you can react to the gauge, especially with how fast stuff happens while in boost.
