Default What Do i do about fueling

I am working out my fueling right now, here are my requirements

Forged 370 ~7000rpms
15-17lbs of boost
WCCH 317's soon
Victor JR

I have an 06 with that damn returnless fuel system, so i was gonna run a Nasty Performance Twin Intake pump setup with a hobbs switch set to 5psi, i was gonna run the stock feed line which is equivalent to -6AN, and then setup fuel rails with a Y going into each rail and then merge them together at the back or front to a Aeromotive Boost refrenced fuel regulator and a -8AN return line back to the tank

would that suffice with 60lb injectors or do i need to step to a 79lb High impedance

When looking at injectors you need to see what BAR they are rated at. Some are rated by fords fuel pressure which is ~43psi while ours is ~60. Also running the aeromotive FPR you can turn up the pressure to get a bit more breathe out of a given size injector. If you are going to run a -6 feed then run a -6 return no need for it to be larger since it will be flowing alot less fuel back to the tank. I would run -8 feed line from the tank with a y in two -6s into the back of the rails then y them back together on the return side of your rails then to your FPR then -6 back to the tank. -6 feed is going to be limiting you running the kind of hp you "should" be making with that setup. IIRC the nasty setup utilizes to walbro 255lph pumps, if so that should be a nice setup only thing I dont like about it is you wont be able to run the tank below about 5gals. Sounds like you are on the right track.

Thanks man, i have to start making measurments, the Nasty setup runs Twin Walbro 340's

they have a turn key setup but $1600 is hard to swallow haha

340s are overkill for what you are doing. I would get the the reacetronix dual intake 255 setup and run your own stuff you would be into it for about a grand. Either way you look at it you are going to have to spend some bucks to support the kind of hp you are going to be making.

my boosted vette has aftermarket rails, 60 pound injectors aeromotive regulator, -6 up -6 return, y'd into both rails, straight back to the regulator, an external walbro y'd inline into the 6 and a racetronix on the intank.

same fuel system did 710/640 in my 03Z with turbos, should do another 50-100 in this car

Maybe check into one of Rick's (Synergy) injector drivers and go low impedance. Just a thought.

The High impedance 79's with fuel allot of HP. Hell the 60's(72 actual) will for that matter.
