It's really a matter of goals, how much $$ you want to spend, condition of the motor, etc. First thing I would do is beef up the tranny tho, you are gonna need it trust me. Others will chime in I'm sure. On a budget, might as well set aside 3k for the works maybe more even with a used unit. And another $500-3k for tranny upgrades. Either way, what you don't spend now you will have to spend later! Radix, Centrifugal or a single turbo would all be good options.

There is no such thing as the best and only you know the answer to what is 'best' for you.
There is no such thing as a low budget FI project. FI costs money, BIG money (well, in my book) If you want a great reliable system be prepared to mortgage the house, sell your gun collection, soul to the devil.

Probably a good used but complete radix with shift kit and servo. When you get the urge to go faster though, be prepared to start breaking things. Still... I would do it!

The HI mount does cost more and has great success. Low mount is just being release and is not for everyone.
Drop a line and let me know if I can help.

Once you've decided which type of FI best meets your needs, then you can come back and we'll help you iron out the details. I'm going to lock this thread for now....these types of questions have a tendency to set off heated debates between the s/c and turbo guys and not a lot gets accomplished. Once you've done the initial research feel free to start a new thread for details.
