Default Went for a drive tonight.

IAT stayed at 82-84 degrees during cruise, ambient was about 72. Temperature started to rise after a long run, I logged 93 degrees when I let off at 104 mph (closed-course raceway, professional driver). Temp back to 82 by the time it coasted down. Boost hits 7 psi at shift in 1st, hits 7 psi at high rpm in 2nd and starts dropping off to 6 at shift, stays at 6 in 3rd and starts tapering off to 5. I am pretty sure that this pulley combo would have made 9 psi without the intercooler, sorry that I changed them at the same time as the I/C to those of you wondering about pressure drop.
I saw a lot of KR, 5+ degrees. At the same point injector duty is 99%. I'll quit beating on it until I install my wideband. Lectric fans work great, after Spal told me that you have to have a minimum of 20 degrees between the low (one fan, half speed), and high (both fans, full speed) settings. Although it runs better, it definitely needs at least 200 more HP, maybe 300 more. Not joking.

What injectors are you running? I am also wondering what kinda boost I will be able to run before the injectors are maxed. I have a feeling that 6 or 7 with a intercooler will feel stronger then 8-9 I am running now.

Your setup is cool. The 4 inch intercooler must be nice! Is your IAT sensor relocated away from the MAF. Those are very cool numbers.

IAT is in the top of the intake manifold.

I was thinking of putting my IAT in the manifold as well, Any problems with that that you have came across?

Sweet Mike! Sounds like your almost where you want to be. Those temps sound real good for ambient temps in the 70's or 80's. Get that knock outta there and you will be smokin!

Yeah, you need to look at a cutaway picture of the manifold, I put it in a dead spot at first.

Do you have any pics of the IAT sensor relocated? How did you seal it to the manifold? What part number did you use? Was it one off of an LS1 f-body or something?

If you go to Mikegyver part 10, look at the picture titled "Where did those pipes go", you'll see a pair of white wires on top of the intake that lead to a plug at the IAT location. If you go to Part 2, there's a pic from the front. I put it there because I want it as close to the cylinder head as possible, but keeping it out of the runner because of possibly restricting airflow. I drilled the hole in the manifold while an air hose was blowing into another hole, blowing the chips out. I couldn't find a grommet, so I glued it in with polyurethane construction adhesive (good stuff, cheap). I don't have a P/N, I think it's from an LS1 f-body.
