408 ci with 8.5-1 CR
Built 4l80e with a 3600is stall PI convertor
I see boost almost immediately. It has actually taken a while to learn to roll the throttle when merging and not hit boost.
anything else just ask.

Sounds good, twin 62mm, .68AR undivided would also be a good choice, spool quick, and make great top end power. Saw that setup on a 408CI ford, spooled WAY faster than his single 91mm, was similar spool up to my Tc76, but with gobs of top end. I think master has such a turbo, you could probably get a couple pretty cheep.

There are two primary pros to twins:
1) quicker spool yet good top end power
2) bling

Two primary cons:
1) COST
2) complications (plumbing, BOVs, wastegates, oil lines, etc)

Not much else there man. The big reason people stay away is the cost to benefit ratio (and they still want to size the turbos to big and end up with lag again). For low boost, you can get a big single that will spool fast enough most of the time to make twins not so attractive. Then again, you could do smaller twins and have boost from idle to 6k with plenty of power too...

Personally, I do small twins if I were going to do it. Oh, wait, I already did so you probably guessed that

do i have to use 2 BOV's or would one be sufficient??
and as far as the A2A couldn't i just merge the to charge pipes from the turbo's before the A2A and use a "normal intercooler" instead of a 2 in 1 out?

if that would work it might be a little harder to do the cold side but WAY easier to do the hot side other than 2 down pipes....

what size turbo's would you recomend??
would a turbonetics tc66 w/.58ar work well??
or a MP t64 w/.68ar

since this is your charge side we're talking about, the merge will work as long as your merge is 2 smaller pipes into the 1 larger pipe, and the IC inlet is large enough.

My FMIC has 2 3" inlets to support the boost.

You could do 1 BOV but may run into trouble.

I wouldn't go bigger than what stock48 recommends above for what you want to do.
