didn't finish the exhaust today, but he did send me a teaser pic...
cut-out before muffler is all that's left to do...

decided to go with a v-band clamped intermediate pipe instead of a cut-out...alot cleaner look...just as easy, if not easier to open up the exhaust...
3" header collector to 3" y-pipe, over crossmember (I can drop my tranny pan now) to 3.5" collector (for future upgrades) then 3.5" reduced to current 3" intermediate...

finished work:

tranny seems fine...of course I haven't romped on it either...
just finished up the first oil change...oil looked good...
very slight glimmer of metal in oil and maybe a 1/16th of an inch of the same collected on the magnetic tip of the drain plug...
so far no smoke, no blow by from the vent on driver side vc and the passenger side vc filter didn't seem oily either...
no knocking or strange noises...
o2's are in and plugged up...still running open loop til Jerry gets back...
gonna go pick up some anti-seize tonight and install the WB sensor...and change the fuel filter as well...it's due...
