Default Weird IAT sensor problem

Well did some logs today and came across a weird problem with my IAT readings. During cruising it worked just fine but when I got into boost it would go all wacky and say negative numbers sometimes and then say like 1* and soon as I get out of it, it would return to normal operation. I have a screw in sensor from RPS and it has been working great until now. Can the pressure be screwing with the readings? Thanks,

Nick

Is it an open filiment type? If so maybe the pressure is shorting out the sensor.

That's probably what is happening. Something wrong with the filiment and under boost it getting a direct connection (short) inside. Out of pressure it relaxes to its normal state. Easiest way is to try a new one. Mine is a stock syty one from napa.

Su107 from autozone. They usually have them in stock or can get them next day.
