I'll share a story.

I bought a used Radix for my 04 Silverado.
It didn't take long before the tranny was acting up.
I had a bud that was the service manager at my local Gm dealer,he said he would have a look at it.
I put the the stock tune in it and drove it 2 bloocks to the dealer.
First thing they did was update the stock tune ,sop. then they determined 2nd gear bands
were gone.
Cool, I go over to get it and put my radix tune in it and it won't load.
No how, no way can I get the tune in it, so I drive 2 blocks back to my shop and park it.

I called Magnason and they said the oe tune was newer than the radix one was based on and that's why it wouldn't load, send my hand held to them for a re-flash-update.
That makes sense.
Except I'm Nova Scotia and they are in Cali and this is my daily driver. It would take a week to 10 days to do that.
They would NOT send me a hand held even with a core deposit, they wanted the old one back first.

I called Brian, who at that time, had his own shop and didn't even work at Magnason.
He got my info and said hold tight, 2 days later Fedex shows up with a handheld that flashes up my truck the way it should.

He did that gratis, nothing in it for him and I didn't buy the blower from him in the first place.

That is looking after your buds, well i'm not even a bud, first time I ever spoke to him.
