Wastegate venting

i think 9psi is too high for 10.2/1 compresion. that is if your going to run pump gas. built motor or not detonation will kill it. just takes longer with good parts.
why such high compresion on a boosted motor?

If you do vent it into the tailpipe, at least do it at an angle and not at a straight 90* angle. This will reduce turbulence and help increase flow in the tailpipe. I vent mine to the atmosphere, because I like to scare small children and the elderly. That's reason enough for me.
So will this be going on the couch or the BBQ with a rubber oh-**** handle.
