yeah thats what I was thinking. I mean i took the wastegate apart and took the spring out, put my mouth up to the lower port and was able to blow air and move the valve up and down so I know its not sticking.

When i was doing the 3-4lb pulls earlier just to listen to things, there was no compressor surge, i just heard the woosh of air and i swear it was coming from the front of the engine. I need to check over all the fittings and anything that has to do with the intake. PVC system etc. to make sure theres no leaks.

Sounds more like you developed a boost leak rather than damaging or a malfunctioning wastegate...what all do you have connected to your charge pipes?

I honestly keep thinking its a leak too, but ive been over every coupler a few times and tightened them down. I just have an A2A intercooler, um stage 1 meth kit, and a sensor about a foot past the the throttle body..

FOUND THE PROBLEM!! After looking and looking earlier, it seems the sway bar had rubbed a hole into the charge pipe going to the intercooler on the drivers side. now I need to find out where to get another pipe....

well you could always get alittle plate welded over the hole for now untill you find out another way to go.

Ill probably get a patch put on it, then make a bracket to pull it about an inch out of the way. The pipe coming off of that does have some play in it, so I know I can pull it off it about an inch or so

thats cool atleast you found the problem nothings worse than have something wrong with your truck and not knowing what it is. that makes sense why your not hearing the WG cause when your butterfly on the throttle body closeing your WGs not opening cause the extra boost is going out of the hole instead of back though the turbo.
