Walbro fuel pump install on 2006
#1
Started my turbo install and this is the first hang up....only minutes into the install...
All the pictures I look at on here have different pump assemblies than mine. I don't know if they changed in 2006 or what. Anybody have any pictures or advice on replacing the pump in an 06?
My main issue is I can figure out how to get the new fuel line hooked up. It is a complete different set up where the line plugs into the the regulator. I don't know if that makes sense. On the pump it has a nipple that you push the line over, but on the regulator it is a female connector that you push the line into and seals. I can't figure out how to get the line to seal in the regulator.
Thanks,
Dan

I just used mt stock pump.I figure if it can feed E-85 then it will be strong enough for my setup.500rwhp and no pressure loss so far.

magnacharger website has the 2004+ pictures....but it is different than mine. At this point I might have to just use the stock pump.
Edit- I just looked at the magnacharger site for 2500 trucks and it has the right pictures.
What I don't have is the brass connector. Do you think a NAPA or a autozone or something would have something like that? Does anyone have the size of that connector?

I have their kit in my tank... but I bought and sold a Radix kit too. Last I knew they do sell parts.
