Default Vortech + N2O, how?

If I were to decide to give my truck a small dry shot of nitrous, 35hp or so, how would I go about doing it?

If it were injected between the blower and the throttle body would the cooling effect of nitrous be enough to eliminate a detionation problem with no additional fuel added.

or

Would it need to be sprayed in front of the MAF to richen the mixture? If done this way would it cause any harm to the supercharger by having the nitrous flowing through it.

I've done a lot of reading on this but all of the info I keep finding is dealing with roots style superchargers or intercooled ATI's. Of course I want more power but I like the idea of cooling the intake charge if I make a few runs back to back on a hot day.

I'm also considering meth injection, just researching my options.

Thanks in advance

I would just install a Alky Control kit I believe it would be alot more safer.

I agree...of course you already knew that ....
I don't like the idea of spraying anything through the MAF. I am trying to make it go away......

If it is dry, it HAS to go through the MAF. You will also need to make sure your injectors can handle it. A wet system would be safer and that should be injectedd after the blower. Its not hard to make an FMIC for the vortech, I have one on mine. I also moved the MAF to blow through instead of pull through and its much better. A meth kit would be the safest and Im going with an Alky Control kit next time. His is without question the best.

spraying a 50-75 wet shot after the blower would work much better than alcohol injection. The engine can handle this safely. The dry shot before the maf leaves too much to chance. I definetly would not try that with out a wideband. I wish I had a centrifical now so that I did not have to worry about what and where to spray!!! just my 2 cents.

We have done many setups like this. I suggest running a wet system with a blower not a dry.
The system will cool the intake charge and add hp. With the wet system you will controll the fuel with the fuel jet. The only thing you may need to do tune wise is pull a degree or two of timing.
