Default vortec or rotrax?

i have a partial vortec v-2 kit im still gathering parts for. I also possibly have the chance at picking up a rotrax kit, but the lack of info and availability scares me. which one would you run? this is a daily driver truck (2001 chevy 2500HD 4x4 on 33's, 6.0L, 5-speed) that see some towing every now and then. mainly a street driven/some offroad truck that likes to feel the boost a few times a day. (also drive a 2.0T passat)

Neither are the most popular kits for gm trucks. If I had to choose between the two, it would be vortech. A roots style blower would be better suited for towing
