Default very new to this.

Im putting a 6.0 in place of the 4.8 that came with the truck have a whipple supercharger on the way, what is the preffered amount of safe boost for a bone stock motor?

Intercooler? With no intercooler i'd think you'd get away with 6lbs with no issues as long as tuning is good.

Its all in the tune, you have to make sure you have enough fuel and that your timing is not too high for your boost level. The biggest thing that is going to be hurting you is the inlet air temperatures ( IAT's)being that you are non intercooled. You will have to keep the timing fairly low to avoid detonation.
