x2

Happened to me also.

Also have a good oil return line made. That one that comes with the kit is cheap and could leak. i had an underhood fire cuz my oil return line leaked.

So i had a local hydraulic hose place make me a good return line.

Also carry a spare relay for your oil pump. never know when you'll need it.

Ok i understand. We did have the oil pump backwards at first. But never cranked the truck just turned it over about three good times, becuz we had a fuel pump issue that was in the tank and couldn't figure out why the truck wouldn't crank, so we fixed that and the oil pump same time before we ever got the truck to fire. Then after it did crank oil runing from bothsides. So i guess i need a cheap turbo to get my daily driver back on the road till i can find someone to rebuild this one . If ya'll got any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It's setup for t4 flange with 3in v band.

What size turbo came with the kit 60,67? Might be able to find someone local that can rebuild it. Prob just need new seals. But I also heard ppl having good luck with ebay turbo's too. I had my starter stick on me one time while the ingition was off. Other words the engine was turning over and there was no power going to the pump. Oil was coming out both sides of my turbo and the exahust was still hot and looked like a smoke show. Ended up having to disconnect power from the battery. I just ended up pulling the cold side off and cleaned all the oil out of it, put everything back on and hasnt pushed any oil since. Might be able to try that.

this was a older kit it came with a 60 but he said it lasted about 60,000mi, so he got the 67 next but put the 60 cold side on the 67 because of boost lag??? Does this make sense? So i am still trying to figure out my turbo size and stuff my self... Next I haven't changed anything with my pcv valve its a 2006 rcsb with a lm7 5.3 flex fuel truck.

i had my relay go bad, that small rectangular gold thingy that gets REALLY HOT. it went bad, i called sts and talked to chris (awesome guy) and he walked me through what it was and he said to get rid of the gold rectangular things and just connect the wires... that keeps the pump on high all the time. he said that with further testing, they found that keeping the pump on high is better. another problem that it might be in the sylenoid that activates the pump may have bone bad. u just need to call sts ( 1 866 938 8726) and ask for chris, hes a great tech who definately knows what hes talking about! good luck
