How does the weight of a vehicle effect boost or drivability?

weight slow's you down so no fat chicks allowed!

 

I'm wondering if a turboed 6,000 lbs Suburban will react the same as a turboed 3,000 lbs Nova with the same setup. Obviously the Sub will be slower but what about the boost - will it come on later or earlier. Like a torque convertor reacts differently to different weighted vehicles - does boost? If I'm out in left field please let me know and I'll move on.

The heavier vehicle should load up the engine more, which should mean that the boost will come on sooner. I don't know if it would be a noticeable difference since there are a lot of other factors that come into play (turbo size, converter, etc etc).

 

That was my thought also - I need to match my TC stall with when I think my engine will start boosting - or maybe the power range of the cam?
